
Started as a bit of a joke based on the ‘Lead, Follow, Get out of the way’ advice. In hindsight, ‘Lead’ is made ambiguous by the question being a binary choice. This is why polling companies are paid the big bucks.
So, basically, the suggested bylaw to municipally enforce masking in closed publicly accessible spaces was defeated basically, because it was, for some, disrespectful of peoples choices, it would cost money, and we are afraid of being sued, and it just isn’t our place to tell people what to do.
